CAREFULLY CURATED MULTI-DAY TRIPS
The Cornish Tours ‘Journeys’, for our 2025 launch year, are two uniquely different three-day/two-night escapes where we’ve handpicked two 4-star hotels that each have a fabulous 2 AA Rosette restaurant and spa.
We’ve chosen two great locations – each with stunning sea views, and each ideally positioned as bases from which to get out and explore two very different parts of Cornwall.
We will operate these tours April-June and September-November, to avoid the peak July & August travel periods.
We are also happy to put together both longer itineraries for you, collecting you from national or regional airports/railways stations, and tailoring a tour of Cornwall that suits your own interests and timeframe.
Each of our journeys has been planned to perfection to showcase the very best of the region
JOURNEY ONE: ALL POINTS WEST
The Lizard Peninsula & the Far West
Join us as we journey west to the most southerly tip of the mainland UK and the stunning Lizard Peninsula. Your three-day, two-night, journey will include three separate day tours and a two night dinner bed & breakfast stay at the Mullion Cove Hotel & Spa perched high on the cliff tops. Highlights will include gardens, Porthleven, St. Michael’s Mount & St. Ives.
-
The tour will leave the SE Cornwall area after breakfast, with a stop on route at either Caerhays Castle or Trebah Gardens, including a light lunch.
We will venture on and park at Lizard Point, the most southerly point of mainland UK, before the final few minutes onto Mullion Cove.
Our time on the road will end as we arrive at the stunning Mullion Cove Hotel & Spa, for a two-night dinner, bed & breakfast stay.
Your stay will include a three-course dinner on both evenings in the 2 AA Rosette restaurant. Each morning will commence with your choice of a full Cornish breakfast or an item from the delicious al la carte breakfast menu, in addition to the continental buffet.
You have free use of the hotel spa & outdoor pool (we will build in free time to enjoy those facilities on our second afternoon).
-
The second day of the tour will take us to Porthleven for a walk around the famous fishing village with its inner & outer harbour and iconic Institute Clock Tower, frequently photographed in winter storms.
From Porthleven, we will make the short journey to the village of Marazion, the crossing point to Saint Michael’s Mount where out tour will include the crossing & entrance.
After lunch, at your leisure, we will take you to St. Erth station where you will board the scenic railway for the 15-minute ride to St. Ives. You will return to St. Erth mid-afternoon for the journey back to Mullion Cove in time to enjoy some spa time before dinner.
-
As we head for home, we will wave goodbye to the Lizard Peninsula at 10 am with a late morning stop at the Lost Gardens of Helligan with a lunch break in Charlestown Harbour, before arriving back in the SE Cornwall area by 4 pm.

£1,500 inclusive of two nights dinner, bed & breakfast; all tours, entry fees & lunches throughout.

JOURNEY TWO: THE NICHES OF THE NORTH
North Cornwall Exploration
Let us take you across the width of Cornwall to the rugged north coast; with a stay at the adult-only Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa. With visits to Lanhydrock house on the way, and Padstow on the return; you will also explore some of the gems of the north Cornwall coast, including Port Issac & Boscastle.
-
The tour will leave the SE Cornwall area after breakfast, with a stop en route at the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House where you will discover this high-Victorian gem, which was a refurbishment of the former Jacobean country home, devastated by fire in 1881.
Our journey will end along the Pentire Headland where we will arrive at the beautifully positioned Fistral Beach Hotel. This four-star hotel & spa is adult-only and your stay will include dinner each evening in the 2 AA Rosette restaurant.
-
Our full-day exploring will commence after you’ve enjoyed a delicious breakfast overlooking Fistral Beach. We will head on the Atlantic Highway to the town of Bude where you can walk along the canal to the ocean and discover The Castle, built in 1830 and home to an art gallery & heritage centre.
We will leave Bude and head to Boscastle, famed for its beautiful harbour. The village was restored after the devasting flood of 2004. The final stop of the day will be Port Issac, made famous by a certain TV doctor and also its sea shanty group, The Fishermen’s Friends.
-
After our final breakfast, we will make the short journey to Padstow where we will explore the fishing village which is also the Cornish home of Rick Stein. We will visit the National Lobster Hatchery before heading the short distance to Trevibban Mill Vineyard, where you will enjoy a wine or cider tasting and a sharing platter of cheese & charcuterie.
After lunch we will take a leisurely drive back to the Looe arrive, arriving by 4 pm.
