With Cornwall home to a huge range of producers, we will take you to vineyards, breweries, distilleries & orchards when you join us on one of our Cider, Gin, Rum, Beer & Wine tours.
You could be tasting the ciders of Fowey Valley in the morning, enjoying a glass of wine at Camel Valley after lunch and ending your day by creating your own gin at Colwith Distillery… what will you choose?
Whatever your favourite tipple, there is a tour right for you… and if you have a particular interest or taste (or would prefer a more in-depth experience at two locations,) we are happy to help create a bespoke tour for you, please just ask.
Each of our tours will include a visit & tasting at two or three locations, as well as lunch.
TOUR ONE: THE BEST ON YOUR DOORSTEP
Looe-Liskeard Valley
Our most local tour, highlighting the very best of SE Cornwall. Whether it’s gin, wine, rum or cider… our most local tour will give you a taste of what’s produced right on our doorstep.
-
We will commence our tour with a visit to Looe Valley Vineyard, just 15 minutes from Looe. Following the Looe River to Sandplace and through ancient woodlands, we reach the Vineyard which was established in 2008.
The tour & tasting is a great introduction to the process of growing & harvesting grapes in the UK’s cooler climate, and how these are then turned into wine.
After a curated tasting, we will take the short journey to enjoy a two-course lunch at either The Plough Inn, or Penhale Pantry.
After lunch, we will visit the award-winning Cornish Orchards, near the village of Duloe. Here, we will explore the orchards and go behind the scenes of how cider is made, before tasting a variety of their ciders.
The tour will end with either a tasting of Looe Gin or Penrock Rum back in Looe, before we transport you back to your accommodation.

We will then head cross-country to the Camel Valley, visiting the multi-award winning Camel Valley Vineyard. Gazing out across the vineyard, we will taste their still & sparking wines which have received two royal warrants.
We will return to the village of Lanlivery for a 2-course lunch in the Crown Inn, before the 2 min journey to the final stop of the day at Colwith Farm Distillery; where you’ll enjoy your choice of a gin or vodka tasting, from their farm to bottle distillery.
We will take the scenic journey back to the Looe area, crossing the river Fowey on the Bodinnick ferry.
Please Note – it is possible to adapt this tour to include a Gin or Vodka masterclass, where you will spend a greater amount of time at Colwith Distillery and distil your own 500ml bottle of gin or vodka to take home. If you request this option the tour would include either Fowey Valley Cider tour & tasting OR Camel Valley Vineyard.
